Settling accounts with daddy

Daddy really had a strong sprain in the ankle region. And it was all the Dino dinosaur's fault.
Dad has to use crutches and his ankle is all bandaged. He has to sit with his foot on a pillow all day.
“I'll take care of you, Daddy,” says Dino. He's been crying a lot since Dad fell.
“Great, Dino,” Dad replies. – Come here, sit on my lap. Let's talk - he smiles.

Dino snuggles carefully into Dad's lap.
“Look, Dino, I know you're feeling really bad about my ankle, but it's not going to help anything right now,” Dad says, patting Dino's back.
'I just wish I could make things different so your ankle wouldn't hurt anymore. I know it was because of me – Dino sobs, crying again.
“You can make things different from now on,” Dad says gently. “You can make your room tidier so it will never happen again,” he explains. – Let's look to the future.
- You do not want to give me a punishment for me to feel bad too? – Dino asks, afraid of the answer.
“No, I think you learned your lesson,” laughs Dad.
- But you could bring me a glass of iced tea!
Let's call it your punishment, okay? - He gives Dino a hug.
- It's ok! And I'll bring four cookies too!
- Dino laughs. – Two for you and two for me!
