NAME:

WITH WHEELS OR WITHOUT WHEELS?

One Sunday afternoon, Pedro and his father kept going back and forth from one corner to the other a bunch of times. Pedro pedaled and guided, while his father held him in the seat to keep from falling.

Last week, they had already removed one of the wheels from the bicycle so that Pedro could gradually learn to walk without the wheels. When he reached the middle of the court, Pedro passed a pebble and almost fell. As he has good reflexes and his father helped, holding him with his hands, he wasn't even too scared and went on his leisurely ride, balancing on his bike as if nothing had happened.

After his feat with the pebble, Pedro was ready to remove the other wheel as well. His father removed it and taught him that he should wear a helmet, pay attention to people passing by and avoid walking in places with heavy traffic.

As Pedro very much wanted to be a good driver when he grew up, he took all of his father's recommendations to heart and began his ride on the bike without training wheels.
