You elderly today are increasingly connected, but there are still those who have had no contact with the virtual world. Such connection with the world of networks provides a new era for these seniors.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) made available a series of courses with which the elderly will be able to enter this technological world.

Thinking about the elderly, which is often forgotten when we talk about technology, the IFSP offered free classes to introduce seniors to the digital world.
The Avaré campus of the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of São Paulo offered vacancies that could be used until last Wednesday, August 2nd.

Enrollment in the courses was completely free. What is new on campus are the classes aimed at seniors who have never had contact with computers and other digital devices. To be able to access these trainings, the elderly needed to be over 60 years old and completed at least the equivalent of elementary school I.
The computer course, for example, will begin this Friday, August 4th, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, in the Extension Coordination room.
