Artificial intelligence has impacted our lives in many ways. An amazing example is the story of Greg Mushen, a man from Seattle, USA, who managed to lose 12 kilos and change his lifestyle with the help of ChatGPT by OpenAI.

Greg, like many of us, has admitted to hating running practice. That changed with the help of ChatGPT. Skeptical, he decided to try the exercise plan proposed by the chatbot.
Surprisingly, the AI was able to work out a routine that suited his needs and wants. Even simple initial steps, such as placing his running shoes by the door, were effective, capturing Greg's attention and encouraging him to stick with the plan.
On day 30 of the plan, Greg reached a major milestone: his first mile, just over 1.5 km. This was a great motivator for him, who began to find pleasure in physical activity.
“Each race was within my level of ability. I went at my own pace. After each race, I started to feel accomplished and because I hadn't exceeded my capacity, I always felt like I could do more,” explained Greg.
Greg's weight loss is more than just a number on the scale; it's a lifestyle transformation. Motivated by his six-year-old daughter, he found in the ChatGPT plan the stimulus for a healthier life. Today, he trains six times a week and has seen improvements in his aerobic capacity, resting heart rate and general mood.
Greg's story is a demonstration of the potential of artificial intelligence in helping people achieve their health and wellness goals.
Although AI does not replace a specialized professional, the case highlights the power of technology in facilitating changes in behavior and lifestyles.
