We selected some activities with concrete and abstract nouns to apply in the classroom. Nouns can be subdivided into concrete and abstract. Concrete nouns are responsible for naming something that has its own existence. For example: woman, paper, man, land, building, sun, mother, father, sister and more. Abstract nouns are responsible for naming something that depends on another being to exist. For example: compassion, happiness, joy, hunger, kissing, longing and much more.
1. Rewrite the sentences replacing the highlighted words with an abstract noun.
