According to the information provided by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), lot 22992 of the Carrefour brand had its sale and commercialization prohibited. Anvisa ordered the recall of the lot.
This is because, after research, the Agency found that this batch did not have the minimum iodine content required in the salt formulation. In this way, Anvisa published, in the Official Gazette, last Wednesday (05), a ban on the sale, distribution, manufacture and use of this ingredient.
