A teacher from the municipality of Pedro Moreira Filho Municipal School, in Nossa Senhora do Socorro, was removed from her position after being accused of verbally and psychologically assaulting an autistic student.
Videos of the discussions between the teacher and the student were sent to TV Atalaia, an affiliate of RecordTV. The case happened last year but only came to light this week.

The images show the unit coordinator arguing with the student and with a trash can in her hand. In another video, she appears with a shoe in her hand while fighting with the 9-year-old autistic student. The videos were recorded by a caregiver who worked at the school.
The employee was exonerated from the position of coordinator of the municipal school. In addition, she will suffer administrative sanctions from the municipality.
