A traveling children's library that takes books and comic books for children living in indigenous nations, quilombos or riverside communities. In order to encourage reading, volunteers go to the place where young people live and set up libraries in schools, bridges and even under trees. Created in Amapá in 2008, the initiative has already traveled throughout Brazil, but its main objective is to help children who live in the Amazon. In all, Barca das Letras has already distributed around 70 thousand titles.
