The Vegetal Meat of the Amazon
The Brazil nut, known as Brazil nut, is a seed of the majestic fruit. Brazil nut tree, the queen tree of the Amazon Forest, which can reach up to 50 meters in height and a thousand years deity. Considered one of the greatest wealth in the Amazon nut grove region, it is increasingly valued in the market for its high value nutritive and its relationship with environmental conservation: it is the only seed traded internationally that has to be collected in the Forest. Attempts to cultivate the chestnut tree for commercial exploitation have failed, as the tree only produces the fruit in its habitat.
