World Cup Project for Maternal

Justification

Football is one of the greatest passions of the Brazilian people. Even winning or losing people continue with the passion. When it comes to the World Cup, everyone pays attention to root for their country, no matter where it is, all nations unite and accompany this great event.

Main goal

  • The development of this project will show the student the difference between countries, in relation to the way of dressing, food and music.
  • The development of this project is aimed at interdisciplinary work. It is possible to develop different knowledge through this event, as football has a large space in
  • our culture and we must remember that an event like the World Cup brings together several countries without discriminating differences such as: race, religion, social class, etc.

Specific objectives

  • Disseminate, value and learn about the cultures of Brazil, Italy (Mat. A) and France (Mat. B);
  • View traditional dances, music, foods, clothes and sights of each country;
  • Identify countries by flag and colors;
  • Understand and Respect collective work.

Methodology

  • The computer lab and data show will be used.
  • Display of photos of countries and football videos.

Cross themes

Ethic: Approaching the union of peoples through the World Cup, respect between students and the rules, working on the concept that you don't always win. Through defeats we draw new strategies.
Environment: Observe the places and changes because of the crown (ornaments), find positive points (twisted) and negative (dirt).
Cultural plurality: Check if you have customs from other countries that we inherit. Search for some idols and assemble a panel of football idols from different countries.

  • Construction of a soccer field to locate geometric shapes;

– National Anthem (making the anthem with pictures related to the words).

Project development

1st Activity

  • At first, the following question will be asked:
  • What is the meaning of the cup for the family?
  • To start the project, the Terrestrial Globe will be presented to show that there are many places and that each colored part has a name, Brazil will be identified. After identification will be
  • show images about customs, music, food and sights.
  • Students will make the Brazilian flag that will be displayed in the room (colors and geometric shapes will be identified).

Material: Earth globe, 1 white cardboard, gouache (green, blue, yellow, white).

2nd Activity

  • A round of conversation will be held asking students "What is football?" Each answer will be noted for the creation of a panel.
  • After the round, students will see videos of children, characters and animals playing ball.

Material: Cardboard, Data show.

3rd Activity

  • Through the terrestrial globe, students will identify where Italy is (Mat. A) and France (Mat. B).
  • After the location, the country's flag will be made and will be displayed in the room (geometric shapes and colors will be identified).

Material: Paper White Cardboard (2), gouache (blue, green, red, white).

4th Activity

  • Knowledge of songs from Italy (Mat. A) and France (Mat. B), moment of a lot of learning for the knowledge of a new musical rhythm.

Material: Sound and music.

5th Activity

  • Knowing a little of the culture of Italy (Mat. A) and France (Mat. B) as costumes, clothes and sights. Through photos and videos.

Material: Date show.

6th Activity

Cooking: students will get to know a little of typical food
– Italy (Matt. A): will do Polenta

Ingredients

  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 400 g of mimoso cornmeal

Recipe Preparation

Bring the water to a boil and add the salt and butter. As soon as it starts to boil, start adding the cornmeal little by little, stirring constantly so that it doesn't lump. After all the cornmeal, continue to stir regularly. For perfect cooking, the polenta is ideal to cook for 30 minutes over low heat. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan, covering with the sauce of your choice.

  • France (Matt. B): will make French Bread

Ingredients

  • ½ kilo of wheat flour
  • 15 g of yeast for bread
  • 15 g of salt
  • 20 g of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • Preparation mode
  • 1. Dilute the yeast in a glass of warm water with sugar
  • 2.Mix the other ingredients
  • 3. Knead and lift, pushing the dough forward with the palm of your hand and folding it in on itself
  • 4. If necessary, add more water and more flour
  • 5.The dough should not stick to your hands
  • 6. It should look light and spongy
  • 7. Let it rest for two hours
  • 8. Then knead again and prepare the bread, giving it the desired shape and place on the greased tray
  • 9.If it is sticky, spread more flour on top
  • 10. Let her rest another hour
  • 11.Heat the oven and brush the bread with water before putting it in the oven
  • 12. Bake for 40 minutes or so

7th Activity

Tour to the Football Field. Students will have a moment of fun and knowledge to get to know what a field is like and what you want in it: grass, beam, scratches on the ground, geometric shapes, bleachers, etc.

8th Activity

  • Making the soccer field students will paint the players' clothes with plastic paint on small plastic dolls. Grass seeds will be planted in a box of soil for field reproduction.

Material: Wooden box, grass seed, plastic doll, plastic paint.

9th Activity

  • Italy player's confection (Mat. A) and France (Mat. B). It will be drawn on white cardboard and painted with paint, each student will paint a part of the player. For the development of motor coordination and group work.

Material: White (20) card stock, gouache (yellow, light blue, dark blue).

10th Activity

  • Soccer Ball Making: Students will paint the Styrofoam ball to reproduce the soccer ball. This will be a group work, for the development of motor coordination and creativity.

Material: Styrofoam Ball (2 Large), Gouache (Black, White).

11th Activity

  • Reproduction of the work “Football” by Candido Portinari through the collage of characters that appear in the work, will be carried out on colored paper. The work will be carried out because he was born in Brazil, his parents were Italian immigrants and travels to Paris. It brings together the 3 countries worked by Maternal.

12th Activity

Souvenir making: students will make a mini-cup for the day. Students will make the base with colored biscuit and Styrofoam ball. Students will develop kneading movement and creativity.

Material: Colored Biscuit (20), Styrofoam Ball (20 Small - Ping pong).

13th Activity

  • Survey for parents to carry out with their children: will parents be asked to observe and note changes in locations due to the pantry? If possible, take a photo of the family or student at a game time or in a place that has decorative objects from the cup.

14th Activity

Reproduction of the tourist spot:

  • Venice Italy Canal (Mat. A): Developing creativity and assembling a mockup.

Material: Styrofoam Plate (2 Thick), gel, clay, landscape.

  • Eiffel Tower France (Mat. B): Development of creativity and motor coordination for assembly with toothpicks.

Material: Yellow ice cream stick (1,000), golden glitter.

15th Activity

Assembly of the memory game with the flag of the countries worked with a milk carton and string.
Material: Milk carton (6), string, flags (EVA).

17th Activity

Cropping of fans in the cup. Parents will send several fan figures to assemble the stands for the football field. Facial expressions (happy, sad, screaming) will be worked on.

16th Activity

  • Making the National Anthem with figures. The oral and visual language will be developed through the images.

Material: National Anthem, Figures, glue, white cardboard (2).

17th Activity

Making the mascot, the students chose a mascot to accompany throughout the project.
Material: Pet Options.

18th Activity
