the worm party

On a beautiful afternoon, at Sítio Borges, Cotinha and Gala waved to their seagull friends:
- Hey! Come fast! The owner of the farm is going to plow the wheat field! He's taking out the tractor!
- We are going! – replied the white birds, full of joy. – The worms are ours alone!
The farm owner climbed into the cabin, turned the tractor key and… wrum, wrum, wrum! The machine turned on. The gulls were already behind, their beaks wide open. The first path was formed on earth, when… creck, creck, creck! The tractor stopped suddenly.

– Hey, what happened? asked Cotinha, startled. – Why is he leaving? We don't peck any worms!
– I hope you didn't make us come here for nothing! - Complained a seagull.
Cotinha and Gala were impatient. Then they whispered a foolproof plan.
