Gisela, the gazelle, is the most vain in the savanna. Seeing her pass by, the hippos always call her “gazelle, gazelle!” but Gisela doesn't respond. She finds them fat and ugly.
As time goes by, the hippos that live peacefully at the water's edge make fun of the vain and pretentious gazelle. One day, after running in the savannah to get the attention of the other animals, Gisela becomes thirsty. She approaches the lake, but a malicious hippopotamus sees her.
