In fact, at first glance, his appearance was that of an old man like so many others, of indefinite age, wrinkles, gray hair, a beard that will give him a vague air of wisdom and respectability. But a certain agility and erect bearing will give the impression that, despite the appearance of an old man, the traveler will retain the vigor of youth. And the eyes… oh, the sparkle of the eyes will be absolutely ageless, a dazzling gleam like a baby's, curious like a boy's, challenging as a young man, wise as a mature man, naughty as a good-natured old man who could add it all up that.
