When I was a child, I was crazy to visit an airport. Television was still a novelty and the planes I had seen for the first time were on TV screens. At that time, I kept thinking like this: are these images real? Could it be that it's not a lie, someone's invention, a trick, I don't know...

One day, out of the blue, my family decided to pay a visit. It was just a joy, I couldn't wait to get there and see if all that was true. At that time, we could get close to the runway, as there was a kind of "observation post" that was close to the runway […]
