O Instagram surprised its users with an update that has been making waves! Now you can stay on top of everything your friends are doing on the platform.
This unprecedented functionality in the application was made available last Tuesday, the 27th, and offers users the possibility of viewing all interactions between two profiles on the social network.

With a simple click on this option, social network users will be able to check a list of their friends' activities, such as tags, likes and comments between two profiles. That way, it's easy to find out when that virtual friendship started, since the “follow” date is also available.
It is worth remembering that this functionality already existed in the Facebook, and has now been extended to Instagram. On the other hand, the new function has nothing to do with the old “Seguindo”, which was retired in 2019.
But calm down, there is a catch: you can only see the interactions between your profile and the other person's profile. That is, you can't spy on your friends' followers. The goal is to keep communication more restricted, focused on the direct relationship between you and the person in question.
If you're curious to try this new feature, it's pretty easy. Just visit your friend's profile and look for the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the screen. A little menu will appear there, and then you choose the option “View Shared Activity”. If this option does not appear, try updating the application.
Soon, you will be redirected to a page with various information. Right away, you'll know when you started following and all the details of the tags, likes and comments exchanged between the two accounts.
This new function is the perfect way to give that basic stalking to your closest friends. This makes it easier to stay on top of what they're doing and stay connected in the Instagram community.
Some people may not have liked the innovation so much, considering it unnecessary, but most users approved the novelty. So if you're in that second group, take the opportunity to snoop around!
