NAME:
Zeca is a boy who lives in a city called Florópolis. One rainy day, when he was doodling in his father's newspaper, he read an ad about a short story contest and decided to participate in it.
– But I never wrote a short story!
She crossed her arms for a while without saying anything. He could have sworn that after so much thinking, smoke was coming out of his head. She thought, thought, thought and ended up writing on paper. Happily, he went to show his mother what she had written. She read it and tried to explain to Zeca that it wasn't a story, but a conversation between him and the paper, about her life. That short story had to have a little story, it had to have a character – people invented in the form of an animal or a person… or a plant, even any vehicle, as long as it had life. And a surprise ending, preferably.
