What do Brazilians eat on a daily basis? Would you run out of “mix” once a week? There are plenty of reasons to respond to this invitation. The intention is to encourage people to stop consuming meat at least once a week. The idea is good for personal health and for the planet.
A campaign by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society – also adopted by the City of São Paulo – wants to encourage this habit. By decreasing meat consumption, water waste, deforestation, desertification, species extinction, habitat destruction and even entire biomes are reduced at the same time.
