NAME:
It's been raining all day, and Zig and Zag are down. Mommy Zebra has an idea.
– Why don't you go explore the attic? – she suggests, smiling. – Try to open the old chest near the window. You can play with everything you find in it.
Within seconds, they're in the attic. The rain hits the roof, right over their heads.
“I wonder what's in here,” Zig says quietly, opening the trunk.
“Will it be a pirate ship?” Zag asks.
– Ohhh! - The twins exclaim together.
The chest is full of beautiful clothes for the sisters to dress up in! In moments, they take all sorts of things out of it.
– Look at these dresses! - Exclaims Zig, holding one aloft to see if it fits. It will do.
- And see! Hats, capes, boots… and decorated parasols! - Sighs Zag.
They find more at the bottom: Crowns, shawls, gloves and glittering jewelry.
– Wow! exclaims Zag, trying on a red suit – Ruby, black cape and long black gloves.
- I am a queen! exclaims Zig, wheeling around in her crown, her bright yellow party outfit and swaying high heels.
They look at each other in a dusty mirror in the corner. Zig sighs:
– What a treasure, even if it's not from pirates!
