Who doesn't like to sit in a very comfortable corner, pick up ____________ comic books and have fun reading fancy stories? Comic books have fans all over the world, and here in Brazil it's no different.
Here in Brazil, it was in 1905 that the weekly magazine Tico-Tico, considered the first comic book in our country. The name Tico-Tico came from the restless little bird of the same name. The magazine was influenced by the French publication
La Semaine de Suzette and had an initial print run of 11 thousand copies. It didn't take long for Tico-Tico to catch on and for decades the magazine published stories by various authors.Available in:. (Fragment).
