A bear came across a fallen tree that served as a honey store for a swarm of bees. He started sniffing the trunk when one of the bees in the swarm returned from the field of clovers. Guessing what he wanted, he gave the bear a sting like that and then disappeared into the hole in the trunk. The bear went mad with rage and began to scratch the trunk with its claws in hopes of destroying the nest. The only thing he managed to do was get the entire swarm out after him. The bear fled at full speed and was only saved by diving headfirst into a lake.
Moral: It is better to bear a single wound in silence than to lose control and end up hurting yourself.
