On top of that hill there's a small white house, with a thatched roof, and so tiny you can't even see it from here. But I know there is, because when I was little my mother told me the story my grandmother told her and I'm going to tell you. In this house, a long time ago, a rooster and a hen lived, they didn't have chicks and, as they wanted to have many children, they took a mouse to raise, they took care of it with all affection and dengo, they gave food, a nice bath, told stories, sang music, invented games, gave kisses (beaked), hugs (winged) and stroked (just like you to imagine).
One day, after lunch, the hen went to wash dishes in the river before leaving, she recommended:
– Do not open the door without knowing who it is. The fox walks around...
After a while, the door slammed:
PAM! PAM! PAM!
The rooster had eaten a lot for lunch, hominy broth, earthworm steak, cabbage stalk salad, cornmeal angu, corn cake. Then he sat in the rocking chair, put on his glasses, and read the paper. She was getting so sluggish that when she heard the knock she didn't even remember what the chicken had said and said:
– I opened it there, my son.
The mouse, which was very fast, opened in an instant. And the fox – because it was her, as you've already guessed – even faster, in an even shorter instant, saw that that little mouse didn't matter, that she just liked to eat a feathery animal. But in a moment smaller than anything, he jumped up and ate the whole cock, in one bite. With the newspaper, glasses and even the rocking chair. And went away.
