Pirates, monsters and amazing stories: let's get to know the Man of the Sea House!

Who doesn't like adventure? If you live in Santa Catarina, or if you ever decide to stop by, don't miss Casa do Homem do Mar, located on Morrinhos beach. It's a very interesting museum – and it tells us a lot about our naval history.

Pirate stories, sea legends, dangerous voyages by ancient navigators that sailed the Earth's oceans… These are just some of the themes covered by the exhibitions. There are also different types of boats - from small Egyptian boats from the time of the pharaohs to Indigenous canoes of the native peoples of our continent – ​​and interesting historical objects from the Navy of the Brazil. I think it's worth the visit!

But beware: pay attention to the museum's opening hours. Before going there, it's worth checking the institution's page or giving a call there – because, in some months of the year, the space closes for maintenance.
