Wolf, monkey, alligator, whale, snake, parrot… Many species of mammals, reptiles and birds are mentioned when it comes to beings threatened with extinction. But are smaller animals such as insects free from this danger? Unfortunately, the answer is no! It may sound curious, but there is even a bee at risk of disappearing!

This is the case of the uruçu or iraçu, a bee that runs in cerrado and forest areas in some states of Brazil.
