A tiger grabbed a fox in the forest and decided to kill it for lunch. The fox, very clever, said to the tiger:
– If I were you, you wouldn't eat me. I am sent from the Emperor of Heaven to be the king of animals. He will be very displeased to learn that you killed me for a simple meal.
The tiger exclaimed:
- Oh yes?!
– If you doubt what I'm saying, come after me, let's take a walk in the forest. You will notice that the animals will be terrified to see me.
The tiger accepted the proposal.
The two went into the forest, the fox in front, the tiger close behind. In panic, all the animals fled. The tiger was amazed. He didn't realize that the animals ran away from him, not the fox.
