In winter, the ants were drying the wet grain when a hungry cicada asked them for something to eat. The ants said to him, "Why didn't you also reserve your food in summer?" The cicada replied: “I didn't have time, because it sang melodiously”. And the ants, laughing, said, "Well, if you sang in summer, dance now in winter."
The fable shows that no work should be neglected, to avoid sadness and danger.
