Are you living the life you want and doing the work you want?

After his cancer diagnosis, Steve Jobs began to live each day as if it were his last. According to him, understanding the limitation of our time on Earth, instead of causing negative feelings, can make us enjoy every moment in the best possible way. Thus, the businessman showed that facing death was one of the most important tools he used to make big decisions.

If today were the last of your life, would you want to do what you're about to do today?

Shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, the businessman said that if the answer was "no" for too long, something would have to change. If the answer was “yes”, it meant he was following his purpose and doing what he was passionate about. How about asking this question too?

Be careful not to lie to yourself. Admitting that you're not living the life you want can be bad and uncomfortable, but that's the only way you'll get closer to the ideal you've been dreaming about.

Do you do what you love?

Doing what you love makes it easier for you to understand what life's purposes are, as well as being essential for getting the energy to wake up well every day. When we do something that interests us and that involves us emotionally, we are more motivated and engaged in our corporate activities, which can lead to a greater sense of accomplishment and purpose. Not all of us are at this stage, however it is important to fight to get there.

When we are satisfied with something we do, we can more easily experience the workflow, where we reach a state of complete experience and maximum productivity. This can help us feel happier and more fulfilled in our roles.
