NAME:
If the owner's daughter didn't want to wear her boots anymore, it was for good reason. One night, his father heard “a cric-cric” in the great room of the fireplace. Intrigued, he went down barefoot so as not to make a noise. Everyone was asleep, but that little noise was not a good sign. He held his breath and approached the noise.
“It's coming from the boot,” he thought.
With a quick movement, he grabbed the leather shoe and… Cuic! A small mouse ran between his legs. The smart-ass had made his bed at the very bottom of his boot, out of walnut shells and sticks! From that day, or rather, from that night on, the owner of the boots no longer wore those shoes. She didn't have the heart to dislodge the mouse from her boot.
