NAME:

The Brazilian people

When the Portuguese arrived in Brazil, the indigenous people lived here. There was, then, the first mixture of ethnicities.
Over time, several immigrants came here, in addition to the Portuguese: Italians, Germans, Dutch, Japanese, and others. In addition to the Africans, who were brought in as slaves.
Then there were marriages between people of different origins, which made the Brazilian population quite mestizo.
