NAME:
Once, a great fire broke out in a forest. Worried, the animals fled the burning jungle. When everyone found themselves in a safe place, well away from the fire, they just watched. They felt they could do nothing, as the fire was huge. However, a small hummingbird decided it would try to put out the fire.
The bird went to the nearby river, caught a drop of water, flew over the burning forest, and released the drop it carried in its beak. As he came and went, the other animals asked him, “What are you doing? You can't do anything; you are too small and this fire is too big”. Some animals had very large beaks, and they didn't help.
But the hummingbird was convinced it could put out the fire and continued to throw small drops into the flames that consumed the trees.
In the end, in front of the burned forest, the hummingbird said it had done the best it could. If everyone does their part, it is possible to save the forest.
