Based on the data present in the map of Brazilian higher education, only 18.1% of young people between 18 and 24 years old are enrolled in higher education, while 17.4% of young people aged 25 or over completed graduation.
This number is considered below the targets established by the National Education Plan (PNE), in which it is expected to reach about 33% of young people in the educational field in the next three years. In view of this, the Kroton educational group developed the “Sponsor a student” project, with the aim of connecting people to these low-income young people who suffer from the issue of studying, especially in universities.
