Portuguese activity, aimed at students in the ninth year of elementary school, addresses the direct transitive verbs. When is a verb classified that way? When does it have full meaning? When do you need an add-on? In that case, with or without preposition? Let's learn? To do so, answer the questions based on the text, which tells us about the performance of the NGO Doctors Without Borders in Guinea Bissau.

In the Bafatá region, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) works to reduce child mortality by maintaining the regional hospital's neonatal and pediatric wards. The teams also supported four health centers in rural areas and trained community health workers. MSF doubled regional hospital bed capacity during peak malaria incidence and as preventive measure, implemented a seasonal malaria chemoprevention strategy, reaching 21,000 kids. In the national hospital of Simão Mendes, in the capital, Bissau, MSF supported activities in the pediatric intensive care unit and provided 40 beds in the neonatal intensive care unit. MSF has been operating in the country since 1998.
