NAME:

scary eyes

The hippopotamus Horacio is in bed. His room is all dark, except for a ray of light that comes from under the window curtain. Horacio is a little afraid of the dark.
- What was this? – he freezes and listens – Ah, it's just the wind moving the branches of the trees outside. He looked like a monster.
He looks around the room.
- What is that? - He whispers.
Two huge eyes are staring at him in the bedroom!
Horacio doesn't know whether to turn on the light or hide under the covers.

His heart is pounding, he can barely hear anything else. Horacio's mouth is dry.
– Who… Who… are you? – he stutters.
'I have to be brave,' he tells himself, but he can't move! – Come on, Horacio! Be a hero! – he encourages himself.
Horacio reaches out and the lamp turns it on.
– Oh, wow! – he sighs – It's just my teddy bear! The light was making his eyes sparkle!
Horacio is so relieved that he starts to laugh
– Huuu, Ho-Ho-Ho- HUUU, Ho-Ho-Ho-! Huuu, Ho-Ho-Ho!
