Anne Frank's diary was first published in 1947 and is part of the literary canon of the Holocaust. And now, for the first time, this comic book edition comes to light. With this adaptation, screenwriter and film director Ari Folman and illustrator David Polonsky demonstrate the young author's literary dimension and genius. They make Anne Frank's contemporary historical document visual and translate the context of the time in which it was written. Based on the definitive edition of the diary, authorized by Otto Frank, Anne's father – one of the best-selling books in the world, published in Brasil by Editora Record – this comic book version makes tangible the fate of the eight inhabitants of the Annex during their days in the hiding place.
