What is a yeti?

It is the name given to a creature that supposedly lives in the Himalayas, a mountain range of snowy mountains that crosses five countries (Pakistan India China Nepal and Bhutan). Hence, he is also known as the Abominable Snowman. Although many believe he is just a legend, in 1961 the government of Nepal officially declared that the Yeti exists.
