The first step

If the stain occurred in your home, quick cleaning is best for a more efficient result. So, if you spilled ice cream on your clothes, change your clothes and take the garment to the dry cleaners. The ideal is to put it inside out in running water.

In this way, the water will help to remove the thick part of the stain and then add a little neutral detergent to break up the grease particles and leave the clothes very clean.

If the color of the ice cream does not come out with this method, it is recommended to add a little stain remover so that it can be completely removed. Because the stronger the color of the ice cream, the more difficult it is to remove the stain.

How to remove dry stain

If when the ice cream accidentally got on your clothes you were out and about and couldn't clean it up quickly, don't worry. It is still possible to remove the dried stain from the clothes.

To remove dry stains, use a spoon to scrape the remnants of ice cream over the stain. Then take a spoonful of bicarbonate, some warm water and add it on top of the stain.

Let it act for approximately 10 minutes, wash with soap and water and let it dry. If the stain still doesn't come out, use a stain remover product to boost the effect of the baking soda.
