With the advancement of technology and the various demands of the consumer market, Mercedes-AMG, known worldwide as a German automaker of cars of high performance, announced a novelty for next year: a more “provocative” version of the C 63SE Performance sedan. The new features of this model will leave everyone very surprised. The first major modification will be the color change in the external finishes. From silver, it will change to concrete gray and, of course, the lower red band will gain a whole highlight. The 20-inch wheels will be finished in matte black, with a red ring around the rim. The car will feature the AMG aerodynamics package.
Black finishes will be in vogue on the exterior of the vehicle. Fenders, window frames and side mirrors are some examples that will receive this special touch. In terms of motorization, the new C 63 will remain the same. There will be a combination of a turbocharged 2.0 combustion engine with electric propulsion, generating 671 horsepower and 1,020Nm of torque. This speedy machine accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds and can reach up to 280km/h.
Inside the vehicle, the seats will be AMG Performance sports with red seats, black synthetic leather and embossed brand emblems. The steering wheel is a mix of leather and microfiber and the seat belts will be red.
For now, the vehicle will only be available in Europe. Sales in other parts of the world will be announced in the near future. Remembering that the model presented so far is with all-wheel drive. However, according to Jochen Hermann, Technical Director at AMG, the hybrid system will supply and recover maximum energy in short periods.
