The employer is responsible for the Guarantee Fund, since it must deposit 8% of its employee's salary, on a mandatory basis. In view of this, it is also important to point out that no deduction should be made from the worker's salary on account of this deposit.
Each year, the entity responsible for administering this money, which is Caixa Econômica Federal, distributes the profits to the respective owners. However, there are some specifications for carrying out the withdrawal:
The exact values of the FGTS have not yet been disclosed, but it is possible to calculate based on the profits obtained in 2020. Thus, the average value is between R$ 37.26 and R$ 1,863.00.
