Mystery: Discovering the function of balls in high voltage wires
Because it is not sure when and if it will actually happen, several theoretical predictions have emerged over time, making many believe and despair with the “imminent” end. To this day we are here and nothing has happened… yet!
We list some of the most relevant theories about the end of the world. Check it out and be surprised!
Check out the theories that “predicted” the end of the world in his time:
Flood and Apocalypse
The flood is portrayed in the Bible as a way to remove the impurities present in the world, being more a form of rebirth than an end in itself.
The story of the book of Genesis tells that Noah, at the behest of God, built an ark to house his family and couples of all species of animals present. With that, his family would be saved and humanity would have a new opportunity to live in the world.
The Apocalypse theory states that there will be a day when the ultimate battle between good and evil will be fought.
fire in london
In the year 1666, a strong fire hit the English city and many believed that that would be the great sign for the end of the world.
Bug of the millennium
The year 1999 was the last of the first millennium after Christ, and many theories about the turn of the millennium were emerging. One of them suggested that systems, limited to interpreting only two digits of the years, would not change to the year 2000, but would reset and go back to the year 1900. Due to this, supposedly other complications would arise, like a snowball, and cause the world to end.
mayan calendar
This being one of the most famous, the prediction of the ancient Colombian civilization said, in its calendar, that the deadline was 12/21/2012.
The Planet X Theory
The latest theory that prophesies the end of the world is from theoretical writer David Meade. According to his theory, a mysterious planet, known as Planet X, would collide with Earth.
Simultaneously, NASA discovered Planet Nine, which made the writer's prediction gain more strength. To reinforce it, David added biblical beliefs, such as the apocalypse, in which he stated that the chosen raptures would begin on 04/23/2018.
However, the NASA claimed that Planet X did not, in fact, exist. What can be confirmed today, after all, we are all here.
