Giant Ramen Fever thanks to Korean YouTubers!

Recently, an instant ramen that serves eight people has become extremely popular, leading to convenience store sell-outs and increased sales of this product.

This huge instant noodle weighs an impressive 729 grams, which is 8.5 times the weight of the Paldo Lunch Box previously available. Inside the box Jumbo Lunch Box, we found eight servings of ramen noodles, three packets of spices, and two packets of flakes.

An example of this phenomenon is the launch of the Jumbo Lunch Box by the GS25 convenience store chain, in Korea.

Just to prepare this giant ramen, we need only 2.2 liters of water. It's true family size!

This novelty has aroused great interest among consumers, who are looking to enjoy a unique experience and share this generous meal with friends and family.

Giant ramen turns fever

Since its launch, the Jumbo Lunch Box of ramen has become a true social media phenomenon. Lots of people started sharing photos and videos of themselves consuming this giant meal.

Product popularity can be measured by the number of Instagram posts and YouTube videos related to the product.

According to data provided by GS25, from the launch date to June 18, more than 15,000 Instagram posts were made about the Jumbo Lunch Box and 500 videos were registered on YouTube. This repercussion on social networks contributed to further increase the interest and demand for this unusual ramen.

Ramen, with its price of ₩8,500 KRW (about R$31.00), quickly became such a popular delicacy that many people couldn't afford it even if they wanted to.

Demand was so intense that just three days after launch, the 50,000 supplies available at GS25 convenience stores were sold out.

Additionally, most of the additional 30,000 orders were also sold, resulting in a staggering total of 80,000 cumulative sales in just 20 days.
