Xiaomi may even have arrived a little late in the market for electronics, smartphones and the like, since it was founded only in 2010, which can be considered recent, arriving in Brazil only in 2015, through partnerships. However, it is undeniable that the company was revolutionary in its proposal to offer gadgets good, cheap and sold remotely over the internet.
Now, the Chinese brand seeks to innovate again, and is already developing a fleet of eletric cars, the company's first model is currently codenamed "Modena". This firstborn will be a medium sedan, coming in two versions and is expected to be launched next year.

Even with the vehicles still in the development phase, it is possible to assess the price that will reach the market. The Modena, for example, should be launched for between 260,000 yuan and 300,000 yuan, which is equivalent to R$ 200,000 and R$ 300,000, according to current quotations.
The Modena will have two versions: the first, simpler one, will be equipped with a 400V battery, while the more advanced version will have 800V, both of which will have an electrical power of 260kW. Also, the two versions may arrive equipped with chips from Qualcomm and NVIDIA Orin X.
Seeking to compete with another giant in the electric car market, Tesla, the Chinese company will also bring another option, but which is a little further from launch. Currently called “Le Mens”, this model should only hit the markets in 2025.
These two vehicles – as well as probably others, if Xiaomi intends to launch more options – will use the same platform. The difference between the Modena and the Le Mens is the three-motor electric drive system, with the brand's own software for electrical control. According to leaks, the Modena will have the electric drive system provided by Inovance and IMC.
