With a proposal for a housing project, the Casa Verde e Amarela program emerged to replace the MCMV (Minha Casa Minha Vida). This program has the lowest interest rates, in addition to helping more than 1 million Brazilians to buy their apartments with financing.
Compared to other housing projects, Casa Verde e Amarela stands out for the following factors:
The federal government understands that the program is not necessarily new and has introduced a series of measures to improve existing housing programs and diversify the catalog offered.
The Provisional Measure (MP) that creates the Casa Verde e Amarela program was signed by the President of the Republic and sent to the National Assembly for voting. This means that Congress can still evaluate the measure and suggest changes. Check out the new program rules below.
To ensure the adhesion of more families, the government allowed a lower interest rate on Casa Verde e Amarela. In addition, subsidies for the program have also increased, with an annual investment of 8.5 billion reais until 2024.
