For the 2023 edition, high school students from public schools will have the opportunity to participate in the Jovem Senador Program. To the registrations will remain open until the 5th of May. The program has one edition per year, which gives students from all over Brazil the chance to learn about the country's legislative structure, which is promoted by the Federal Senate.
Young people approved in the newsroom will have the opportunity to learn about the entire structure that governs the country through the Legislative Power in an initiative designed and organized by the Senate. School institutions must hold a writing contest with a theme proposed by the program. For this edition, candidates will need to develop the theme “mental health in public schools”. The writing regulation and the material for masters are available on the Senate website.
The compositions that stand out in the institution must be sent to the Secretary of State for Education (Seduce) from Goiás. Seduc de Goiás must choose the three best essays so that students can present themselves at the Legislative Experience Week, representing the state in the country's capital.
Registration began on February 8th and will close on May 5th. The state stage will take place on May 31. The evaluation by the Federal Senate is scheduled for June 12. The winners will be announced on June 15 of this year for the Legislative Experience Week, which will take place from August 21 to 25.
