FGTS 2022: Caixa releases extraordinary withdrawal for new groups

Caixa Econômica Federal is making available the new FGTS 2022 withdrawal in the amount of up to R$ 1 thousand reais, known as “Extraordinary Withdrawal”. This week, those contemplated are those born in June and July, as the amounts are being released according to the month of birth of the worker. Keep reading and check out the full schedule.

According to information from Caixa, approximately 42 million workers have an active or inactive account balance in the Guarantee Fund. Thus, they will be able to withdraw up to BRL 1,000 from their digital savings.

The determination that governs who will receive some value is simple. All you have to do is have a balance in any FGTS account, whether active or inactive, up to a limit of R$ 1,000.

This way, if you have R$500 in your FGTS, you can withdraw that amount, but even if you have R$500,000 in your balance, you will only have access to R$1,000. If the worker has money in more than one account, the withdrawal will be carried out first in the oldest account, until reaching the ones that were opened more recently. Each individual will be entitled to a withdrawal, regardless of the number of open accounts.

Thus, to receive and transfer the values, workers will have the money deposited in a Digital Social Savings Account. If you prefer, you can transfer the money to another institution via the Caixa Tem app.
