Lesson Plan – Water Cycle

THEME: water cycle

  • Know the physical states of water.
  • Identify the stages of the water cycle.

  • Blackboard and chalk/brush.
  • Video Save the Blue Planet, link available in development.
  • Water cycle figure.
  • List of exercises on the water cycle, link available in development.

Watch the video with the students Save the Blue Planet.,

Jot together important information from the video such as the volume of fresh water, where the water is stored, what percentage of water humans use, what will happen with climate change.

Ask students in what ways we can find water. Conduct the answers to arrive at the physical states: liquid, solid and gaseous.

Talk about the temperatures of physical state changes quickly, this class should have been held previously.

Show students that changes in physical state are part of the water cycle. Explain to them what the water cycle means and study each step of the cycle using a picture.
