Children's Opera by Tim Rescala on the text by Maria Clara Machado is featured this Saturday (27)
This Saturday, April 27, Rádio Animada presents a tribute to the great Brazilian writer and playwright Maria Clara Machado.
Maria Clara arrived on Planet Earth in the month of April. And she also left here in April. She left, but left an immeasurable legacy. In addition to founding the Tablado Theater School, she wrote nearly 30 children's plays, including Pluft the little ghost, Maria Minhoca and The Blue Horse, which we are going to hear on the program.
The Blue Horse it has already had several productions in theater, turned into a book and also won a cinematographic version, directed by Eduardo Escorel.
In 2001, the comedian, composer and pianist Tim Rescala adapted the text for opera, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Tablado Theatre. Tim spoke with Rádio Animada and told the entire creation process.
