The Minister of Social Development, Wellington Dias, clarified that the government will analyze again the beneficiaries of the new Bolsa Familia, even without informing a final date for this reassessment and consequent conclusion of who will continue to receive the benefit or not.
This measure was foreseen, since the PT intended to reformulate the program, which, in turn, had already been renamed during the Bolsonaro government, called Auxílio Brasil. Thus, a new analysis of the beneficiaries of the Cadastro Único (CadUnico) was also expected, as well as some changes to the program's rules.

The minister informed that they will work together with the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), as a kind of special census in relation to the beneficiaries of the program. However, regarding the probable number of people who may leave CadÚnico, Dias clarifies that it is impossible to estimate, and any attempt would be just a guess.
Auxílio Brasil benefited more than 21 million Brazilian citizens, one of the circumstances that make it impossible to accurately calculate the final cost of the program, after excluding those that no longer fit the new rules.
