The resource is not as used as Google Calendar, which also serves for organization. But for users who need and want a more detailed to-do schema, Tasks is a great fit. It is mainly used when commitments are many in everyday life.
After the changes, the top part of the page gained a new format. The top consists of the titles of the user's lists. Simply swiping your finger across the tabs allows you to easily move between them.
The “My Tasks” section is now just “Tasks” and is centered in the app. It sits right next to the profile avatar, which also gives access to account and tool settings.
“We've updated the Tasks mobile interface to present multiple lists at once in a tabbed interface. The update allows users to organize their activities into varied lists and better manage their appointments on mobile.” That's what Google itself describes about the changes in Tasks.

Therefore, any resource that becomes easier and more intuitive to use ends up adding positive points. Furthermore, significantly modifying the app would cause strangeness and confusion for those who depend on it.
The button for creating new activities, for example, remains in the same place. So, the changes didn't affect the app's agility, on the contrary, they improved it.
As with other recent updates, Google is still rolling out the new version of Tasks. Soon all users of the platform will be able to count on the news available. In any case, it's worth checking that your app is up to date.
