According to information released by the DMV-MT itself, notified drivers will need to wait for regularization to be able to drive again. If the individual is caught driving a vehicle without his respective license, he may be punished.
The punishment will be in accordance with article 309 of the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB), which determines a prison sentence of six months to one year, or payment of a fine.
According to Alessandro Alencar de Andrade, Director of Qualification at the aforementioned institution, drivers will be notified through the notice published in the Official Gazette, once all contact attempts have been exhausted, through the Mail. In view of this, try to keep your personal data, registered with the agency, up to date.
In the first notice, 257 drivers will be able to present their defense in writing, with the Detran-MT. For this, it is required that the papers are filed at the agency's headquarters or at any Cinetran (for residents of cities in the interior of the state).
Already in the second announcement released, 110 drivers will have their CNH cancelled. They will also have a period of 15 days to file an appeal in writing. If this does not happen, the document will no longer be valid.
Having said that, if your CNH is, for some reason, out of order, try to avoid driving vehicles. Try to resolve the situation so that the headache is not greater later.
