Since 2020, the program, which previously only featured anonymous people, has also had famous participants in the cast. Separated between popcorn (anonymous) and cabin (famous), the BBB 22 will follow the same line of the last editions.
The premiere took place on January 17, with the beginning of the confinement of the brothers in a space completely isolated from the outside world. After three months of confinement, the public votes for their favorite participant to win a cash prize. The final of this edition is scheduled for April 21 of this year.
As in past editions, the prize varies according to the classification of the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place). In this sense, whoever is in the last place among the three finalists wins a prize in the amount of R$ 50 thousand, while the second place wins R$ 150 thousand. The winner takes home R$ 1.5 million plus a brand new car.
This year's program underwent some changes, starting with the presenter. Tiago Leifert said goodbye to reality in 2021, giving up the post to Tadeu Schmidt. Well known on the Globo network, the former presenter of Fantástico will now lead the BBB presentation, with the general direction of Rodrigo Dourado and the core direction of Boninho.
Even with the initial intention of ending the program in 2008, the high level of popularity took it to the 22nd edition. That way, with several well-known artists and people who were previously anonymous, BBB 2022 promises lots of laughs and entertainment.
