New services are released in the Meu INSS application; check which ones

To make life easier for policyholders and reduce face-to-face demands, the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) released two new services on its platform.

With more than 100 services to make life easier for its policyholders, the “Meu INSS” application, after months without any updates, brought news that promise to facilitate, and a lot, the lives of its policyholders. Check out in today's article everything about these new services.

Learn more about the two new services available in the Meu INSS app

According to the INSS, the main objective of making the new services available is to ensure ease and agility in services. The two new services available in the app are: reimbursement for travel to carry out medical expertise in another city ​​and the request for permanent disability retirement, popularly known as retirement for invalidity.

Provided for in Normative Instruction 128/2022, the refund of R$118.43 is still unknown by many Brazilians who are entitled to this return, which is used to cover expenses caused by displacement when the insured citizen needs to leave his city and go to another in order to take the exam expert. In this way, to file the order, with the new update and availability of this service, it is possible to request the amount without having to leave the house.

How to access the new services?

Check now how to make your refund request:

1. Enter the app and click on the three dots in the upper left corner;
2. Select the option “New order”;
3. Click on “Assistance benefits”;
4. Select the option “Request reimbursement of travel expenses for social and/or medical assessments (BPC)”;
5. Finally, fill in your details;
6. Now just send!

For policyholders who wish to apply for disability retirement through the app, it is also very simple. Here's how to apply:

1. Go to the three dots in the upper left corner;
2. Select the option “New order”;
3. Click on “Permanent Disability Benefit”;
4. Fill in the requested information;
5. Attach the necessary documents;
6. Submit your request and do not forget to write down the protocol number to accompany the request.

It is worth remembering that, for this request, it is necessary to present the following documents:

• Medical reports;
• Exams;
• Other documents that prove the condition.
